Flaming Lips Planning ‘The Soft Bulletin’ Live Album

    The Flaming Lips are going to be spending a generous amount of time this year heading out on the road to play their 1999 record The Soft Bulletin. These new live versions of the songs are also going to be immortalized, as the band is planning on releasing a recording of the tracks on a record titled Live La Fantastique de Institution 2011. The cover art for the recording has already been revealed via Twitter, and decorates this post. No release date or any other details are forthcoming at present, but this should provide a neat memento of this era, which is being put out by the group’s former label Warner Bros.
