Christmas on Mars, the long awaited film project from the Flaming Lips, may have its debut at South by Southwest this March. Frontman Wayne Coyne has said that the band is working on final editing and special effects while they transfer the film to an HD format. Coyne also said that once the film debuts, he envisions taking it on "tour," and modifying the film using viewer input. While this seems like a daunting task, Coyne observed that if any band is up to it, it's the Flaming Lips.
