First Masters Degree In Beatles Awarded
A couple years ago, it was announced that the Liverpool Hope University was beginning to offer a master's degree in the Beatles, as in a degree in the band that had that one song that was a big hit (aka all of them). Two years later, and boom: A woman just graduated with a master's degree in the Beatles. Mary-Lu Zahalan-Kennedy studied the social climate and cultural aspects that allowed The Beatles to become who they became, and she also studied the British music press and other things around the Beatles. I wonder if she'll go back and get a doctorate in Ringo's drum fills. [HypeBot]
