fIREHOSE Reform For Tour, Columbia To Release Anthology, ‘lowFLOWs’

As we’ve previously reported, fIREHOSE will be getting back together. Not only that, but the trio–made up of Mike Watt, George Hurley and Ed Crawford–will also be hitting the road in just over a month for its first round of shows in 18 years. Starting on April 5 in Sacramento, the 14-date, predominantly west coast tour will go throughout the month, culminating at Coachella on April 20.

In other fIREHOSE news, the band will have a two disc anthology released through Columbia Records. Called lowFLOWs, the set will draw on material originally released between 1991-93, including Flyin’ the Flannel and Mr. Machinery Operator. The 45-track compilation will yield 15 previously unheard tracks as well, in addition to plenty of live jams. Expect lowFLOWs to hit stores on April 3, just in time for fIREHOSE’s reunion run.
