Earlier this year, it was announced that Epic was finally done keeping Fiona Apple on its shelf again, and would be releasing her fourth album sometime this year. Well, that time is allegedly late June, when the album is due out, according to Epic's release hopes.
We can't be sure that will actually happen, but we do know the album has a title now, and it's pretty absurd: It's going to be called, if Apple's wishes are met, The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do. That's the title. Apple's got a history of long titles: Her sophomore album When the Pawn... technically had an eight-line poem as its title. [P4K]
