As Filter magazine's yearly Culture Collide festival draws nearer, the publication shared a fun new idea today. Partnering with Virgin America, the music rag is launching "I'm With The Band," a cross country flight to kickstart the music festival, which takes place October 4-7, 2012 in Los Angeles. The concept is meant for festival attendees who are flying from New York to the City of Angels. They will be able to book a seat on the "I'm With The Band" flight, which will feature exclusive in-flight performances and DJ sets from musicians like of Montreal's Kevin Barnes (DJ Set), School of Seven Bells (DJ Set), and Penguin Prison (Acoustic Live Set).
The flight is set to fly from JFK to LAX on October 3, 2012. It will depart at 11:30 am and arrive in Los Angeles at 2:40 pm. You can book your seat here (it's Flight 409) and get your Culture Collide wristband here.
