Fiery Furnaces Have Plans To Release 10 Albums In 2011
The nutty experimentalists in Fiery Furnaces are about to crush any other band's attempt at prolific to smithereens: according to this EW story, the band is planning to release a whopping 10 albums next year. Eight of those albums will be Matthew Friedberger solo joints, six of which will be recorded with only Friedberger's voice and one other instrument (organ, double bass, drums, harp, piano, guitar). Sister Eleanor is recording one solo album, and the duo plan to record a Fiery Furnaces album later this year. So that brings the total up to 10. And expect all of those 10 to get reviews along the lines of "over-indulgent."
