Fest mania: Monolith returns to Red Rocks

The second annual Monolith Festival is set to go down at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheatre September 13 and 14. While headliners DeVotchKa (a hometown Denver band, natch) and Justice have been big festival presences lately (both just played Coachella), Monolith's lineup also includes some bands that haven't been on every festival roster announced lately. Those would be TV on the Radio, Band of Horses, and Silversun Pickups. Also on the bill are Vampire Weekend, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Neko Case, Del tha Funky Homosapien, Tokyo Police Club, CSS, Cut Copy, A Place to Bury Strangers, Blitzen Trapper, Akron/Family and the Kills.
