Ferrell, Morello, and Bragg Celebrate Wayne Kramer

Perry Ferrell, Tom Morello, and Billy Bragg are slated to join MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer onstage as a part of a benefit for the youth addiction counseling organization Road Recovery. The night doubles as a tribute to Kramer, whose raw, bombastic playing style helped pave the way for punk rock and everything that followed.

The one-off supergroup also includes ex-Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell, who, it must be said, went on tour with Creed.

The show takes place at the Nokia Theatre in New York on May 1 and also features performances by Joan as Policewoman, Miggs, and Ours. [NME]
