Did you know Leslie Feist's last album, The Reminder, came out over three years ago? It really seems like just yesterday, doesn't it? Who would have thought that the right combination of songs and commercial appearances would make Feist and even bigger name than Broken Social Scene?
Well, for those of you who are very aware we haven't heard anything from Feist for a while, fear not! In an interview with The Guardian, longtime Feist collaborator Chilly Gonzales confirmed that he and the singer had moved into a swanky house in Paris to record the successor to The Reminder. And, if you click on that link, you will be very jealous that such a greasy looking dude in a bathrobe gets to share a chateau with the mid-30s megababe.
No release date has been given (I get a feeling the duo likes to take their time), but it is quite exciting. It's almost time to get another bunch of soulful pop songs in your head for the next three years.
