FBI Arrests Alleged Gene Simmons Hacker

    When you’re a celebrity, you can apparently ensure that the person suspected of hacking your website faces a trial: the FBI arrested Kevin George Poe, 24, of Connecticut, this week, saying that he’s responsible for hacking Gene Simmons’ personal website and taking it down last year. Poe is set to appear in L.A. court, and faces 15 years in prison. 

    To catch you up: Last year, Gene Simmons said in an interview that illegal downloaders should be locked up, and have their personal belongings taken from them. Poe, allegedly, and other hackers associated with Anonymous responded in the best way imaginable: By taking down Simmons’ website by hacking it.
