Fatboy Slim’s BPA to release album with contributions from Byrne, Dizzee, Iggy, & others

Back in the summer, we were stunned by possibly the most brilliant use of nudity censorship ever with the video for "Toe Jam" by Brighton Port Authority (BPA). Considering that Norman Cook’s greatest legacy is his equally unbelievable music videos with Fatboy Slim, we shouldn’t have been all that suprised. Nonetheless, it was easy to overlook just how awesome the song "Toe Jam" was, never mind the video. We’ll get to hear more of BPA’s work on the full-length album I Think We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat, presumably titled that just in case the nerd factor of BPA wasn’t high enough.

While we already knew of the contributions of David Byrne and Dizzee Rascal on "The Toe Jam," the opening track "He’s Frank" will feature none other than the prince of punk darkness himself, Iggy Pop. Pete York, Marta Wainwright, and Emmy the Great are some of the other notables with a hand in this album. I Think We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat hits the market on February 3 through Cook’s own Southern Fried Records label. Track listing is as follows:
