Explosions In The Sky Drop Fifth CD, 'Take Care, Take Care, Take Care,' April 26

The West Texas post-punk band Explosions in the Sky has carved itself out a unique niche in the current indie scene with its impressionistic instrumental opuses. Fans of the band waiting for a new release need only wait a few weeks longer: the group plans to drop its fifth CD, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, April 26 on Temporary Residence Ltd.

The disc is the band’s first full length studio CD since 2007’s All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone. It was recorded at Sonic Ranch in El Paso by John Congleton and produced by the band. The artwork was created by the group’s longtime visual collaborator Esteban Rey.
