Dead Oceans signs the Explorers Club

Secretly Canadian/Jagjaguwar spinoff Dead Oceans has announced the signing of Charleston, South Carolina's the Explorers Club. Upon hearing the band, you might think they're actually from Southern California, as they rock the kind of serious Beach Boys vibe so popular with the indie kids these days. The band should have a single out on Dead Oceans later this year, with a full length to follow early next year. For now you can cop a listen to "Last Kiss" below, which comes from a limited edition UK 7 inch. Or you can head to the band's MySpace to hear more from them.
