‘Expendables’ Director Looking To Nab Sean Connery For The Threequel

The Expendables 2 just opened this past weekend and there are already rumors flying about number three. Director Simon West recently mentioned over the weekend that he’s interested in nabbing Sean Connery for The Expendables 3. West told the Press Association, “I don’t know who’s left. Sean Connery would be great to bring back from retirement. I don’t know if he wants to do it but I’d love to have Sean Connery.” As unlikely as it might sound, the former James Bond is only the latest in a string of potential additions to the team.

As previously mentioned Nicolas Cage is officially onboard, Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford are in talks for roles and the producers have their eyes on Wesley Snipes. Those huge names only add to the already impressive roster of Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jean-Claude Van Damme and more. [NME]
