Expect Pearl Jam holiday release . . . sometime in February

Via Billboard:
Better belated than never? Veteran rockers Pearl Jam have announced the track list for its annual holiday fan-apprecation disc. The "A-side" finds the Jam covering the Who's soaring "Love, Reign O'er Me," and the "B-side" offers Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World." The band says members of its Ten Club fan group can expect the disc in their mailboxes "sometime in February." Billboard also notes that rumors are swirling about a Pearl Jam summer tour, which for now remain exactly that. Rumors.
I suppose you have to hand it to Pearl Jam for not going the typical route and seeking cred through obscure cover choices, but these rock chestnuts have been roasted over so many open fires that the choice seems a bit perfunctory. Would you rather hear your favorite band covering a beloved song and going through the motions or have the members introduce you to something new, reminding you how much cooler than you they are?

Nice gesture, but it'd be odd getting this after the holidays.
