Exile On Main Street To Be Reissued In May With Ten New Tracks

One of the Rolling Stones' crowning achievements just got a little bit better. Universal Music announced that it will be reissuing Exile on Main Street on May 18 with ten new tracks. The songs range from alternate versions of "Soul Survivor" and "Loving Cup" to some new originals such as “Plundered My Soul,” “Dancing in the Light,” “Following the River” and “Pass the Wine." Mick Jagger has said that, other than some "light revisions," the songs are much as they existed during the original sessions. The new tracks will be available on a deluxe CD edition of the album and a super-deluxe version that includes vinyl, a collector's book, and a documentary about the album. There's no word yet whether Liz Phair has been spotted shaking her fist at the heavens. [Rolling Stone]
