Evidence Dropping 'Cats And Dogs' This Summer
Evidence's long-awaited Cats and Dogs album, which will be his first on Rhymesayers, could be here as soon as this summer. As he explains in the above interview with Mr. Peter Parker, the record is completely done and its "release date is really close." He also let is slip that DJ Premier (!) produced a pair of tracks for Cats and Dogs while Evidence himself handled several beats. Unfortunately that's all we know for now, but damn, I cannot wait to hear him spit over some Premo material.
It's been a minute since we have heard from Evidence, whose previous effort was last December's great I Don't Need LoveEP. Before that, he released 2008's The Layover EP, which feels like forever ago. Watch the video for "To Be Continued...," off Cats and Dogs, below.
