A very scientific and important study has been conducted by the PRS for Music has revealed which song is most likely to make a young bro cry: It's "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M., followed by "Tears in Heaven" and "Hallelujah." Me, I never cry during music, only during videos of lions reuniting with their owners. But I guess I get "Everybody Hurts" as the choice. But to me, "Nothing Compares 2 U" by Sinead O' Connor (number 4) is more likely to get me crying. To see the top ten, go here. Also, "Tears in Heaven"? That song sucks.
This song gets my vote: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRjb8sMjYu8
Ooooh. But how much of that is due to the visuals?
True. But I caught feelings when Troy and Abed sang it on Community.
When I'm drunk enough, "All My Friends" gets me gushing like nobody's business.
sissies!
bahahaha.
Surprised Tears didn't make the list... Music has never made me cry but that track has probably come the closest.
List is incomplete without Hank Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." Or any Hank Williams for that matter.
Call me crazy, but I don't picture 'dudes crying' to Candle In The Wind... Good call on Hank Williams, I nominate "Lonesome Town."
Major, MAJOR, omission here. Johnny cash's cover of "Hurt".
Atleast the video....If you can watch it without crying you are a robot!

Dude from the A.V. club tried to argue that "Sweetness Follows" is the sadder track on Automatic for the People, but nothing gets me more than that album's "Nightswimming." "Everybody Hurts" has reached such a pop-culture-reference saturation point that I find it hard to listen to.
Tears in Heaven sucks
I would never have pegged "Nothing Compares 2 U" as a top 10 dude-weepy song. And I'm seconding "All My Friends." And the lion/owner reunion video.
