It was only five days ago that legendary singer Etta James passed away at the age of 73 following a battle with leukemia. And since then, it appears that folks have been grabbing as much of her music as they can. According to Billboard.biz, her overall music sales have jumped by 378 percent.
James also landed her highest-ranking album of all time with The Best of Etta James - 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection. It jumped from number 162 to number 46 with 8,000 units sold. Not only that, but her biggest single, "At Last," sold 63,000 downloads, which was a 1,361 percent improvement over the previous week.
