Erykah Badu talks about her upcoming album

Erykah Badu has always been rather eccentric, which is a part of her charm. The giant wrap and afro wigs, the hip-hop boyfriends like Common and Andre 3000, and the occasional mumbling on tracks all add to the Badu mystique. As Ms. Badu prepares to release her highly anticipated new album New Amerykah on February 26, she took a minute to sit down and talk about the challenges she faced during the recording.
