A few details about the forthcoming Flying Lotus album, Cosmogramma, have already leaked, and now further information has been made available. The record will be released on May 4 on Warp, and will feature collaborations between Steven Ellison (who is Flying Lotus), Thom Yorke, and Outkast string arranger Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.
Alice Coltrane is Darlington’s aunt, and another collaborator who features on the record is Ravi Coltrane, who is a highly acclaimed saxophonist in his own right. Laura Darlington, who so memorably appeared on “Infinitum” from Los Angeles, also returns, making Cosmogramma a mouthwatering proposition.
