Eric Clapton's Faithful Fender Strat to be in Guitar Center's Vintage Collection

The Guitar Center Vintage Collection has just welcomed a new edition:  "Blackie," Eric Clapton's preferred stage and studio guitar. Having exclusively played the guitar for 15 years, Clapton first played "Blackie" at the Rainbow Theater in Finsbury Park, London. Months of world tours were to follow, with Blackie by Clapton's side, seeing him through bouts of alcoholism and heroin addiction. Clapton has in fact said in an interview with Guitar Player Magazine, “I feel that, that guitar has become part of me." "Blackie" is a classic Fender Strat, and has been replicated 275 times.
