Synth pop duo Andy Bell and Chris Clark (a.k.a. Erasure) have announced plans for a new studio album. A Light at the End of the World will see release May 22 via Mute Records. The album will be preceded by the release of its first single "I Could Fall in Love With You" sometime this spring. The album was recorded in Maine last fall, in a private home that was converted into a recording studio, and was produced by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Nick Cave.) No tracklist or supporting dates have been announced as yet.
