
If you've seen Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Niggas in Paris" video, which dropped a few days ago, you can attest to the fact that it might adversely affect those with epilepsy. An organization, the Citizens United in Research for Epilepsy, recently said to TMZ, "We applaud artists like Kanye West and Jay Z who recognize the potential dangers in their videos, movies and performances and are conscientious enough to warn patients and their families about the risks."
Of the four million in the U.S. who suffer from epilepsy, CURE also acknowledegd that 50,000 people die each year from seizures and their related problems. Also, a representative from the Epilepsy Therapy Project said that the group "appreciates the sensitivities" shown by Jay and 'Ye in warning photosensitive individuals.
