Entrance/Little Joy/Megapuss tour

A short three-band tour winding its way around the Western states this September may be full of newish bands, but will sport more '60s influences than a theme party at Jann Wenner's house. The bands in question all hail from the L.A. area, and are busy bringing beard-rock back to Laurel Canyon, but they'll also be spreading the love a little further across the Golden State and beyond. Psychedelic blues-rockers Entrance, Devendra Banhart side project Megapuss, and Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti's lounge-pop outfit Little Joy are starting their Western jaunt in San Diego on September 4. It's already been stated that members of each band are expected to be sitting in with each other, so get ready for one big family-style lovefest.

Tour dates:

09.25.08 Los Angeles, CA: Troubadour

Little Joy is a terrible name for a band. It's a dive bar across the street from my flat.
