Eminem’s mom, Debbie Nelson, is set to release her book, My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem: Setting the Record Straight On My Life As Eminem’s Mother, stateside on November 1. The book was released earlier this month in the U.K. and has reportedly sold upwards of 100,000 copies.

Nelson claims the book is her chance to address all the criticism that Eminem has levied against her in his music and in the press over the years. You have to assume it debates just about everything he said about her in “Cleaning Out My Closet” and “My Name Is.”

With Eminem out of the spotlight for what seems like 10 years (he hasn’t put out an album since 2004’s Encore) Nelson’s book probably won’t have the same kind of impact it could have had six years ago. [NME]
