Though it wouldn’t be all that surprising if it actually happened, but for now, fans clamoring for the rumored Eminem/Lady Gaga duet are going to have to chalk it up as wishful thinking.
NME reports that Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg has taken to his Twitter account to deny reports that the rapper is planning a duet with Lady Gaga. He wrote: "People don't hear from Marshall for a spell and they just start making stuff up. Thirsty world."
Slim Shady, who is indeed working on new material, was rumored to have recorded a collaboration titled "Street Lights" with the singer and fellow Dr. Dre protege Kendrick Lamar.
However, the words allegedly came directly from the Detroit rappers' mouth. In an interview with MTV Rapfix, he said that he recorded an upbeat song with Lady GaGa and also said: "Yeah, I got this crazy record with GaGa and Kendrick for the upcoming LP. It's called 'Street Lights', and it's just a real upbeat record. We don't have a release date yet, but it'll be after Slaughterhouse's album."
You be the judge on who is actually telling the truth.
