Until now, Eminem's long-gestating sixth album, Relapse, was announced as a "TBD 2009" album. Now, thanks to a message from Eminem's website, the album has been slated for a May 19 release. The album will kick off what is supposed to be a return to form for Aftermath, which starts with Em's release, and then continues with the release of 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct and Dr. Dre's Detox, both of which have been promised for a 2009 release. It's wrong because the picture from Eminem's site was wrong this morning. Technically though, the album will be out in the U.K. on the 18, so, yeah. |
