Eminem Blames Drug Use for Poor Quality of 'Relapse'

Relapse album is the shiat!! I don't know how Eminem can down his own album like that....yea it was a lot of punchline stuff, but that's Eminem!! I hope Relapse 2 is more of the same...I think Relapse was one of his BEST albums!!! Keep it up and stop downing urself..., much love!!

relapse was bad considering eminem is much better than that sh***y lyrical wandering and that dumb voice. his old stuff was the best and i hope relapse 2 is more reminisant of his past works. bring back slim and marshall and ditch this goofy charcter you created off the vicaden

Relapse was better cd then encore, but had alot less emotion then encore. What we need is him to go back to his crazy self like in the slim shady lp, but with the lyrical talent we heard in infinite. I hope this album comes out and shows that he still has it, because anyone can rhyme, but can you rhyme with rhythm and yet still keep a point to what your saying. we will see , im rooting for relapse 2, lets get the real voice back also

i think in relapse he went back to his roots witch a lot of rappers forget about after they drop a couple albums. think he should stick to the shock value because thats what got him where he is .you cant mix the funny with the serious . i like the serious too ems sick. his high pitch nerdy white boy voice is what made him popular . slim shady lp was the best cd he put out i still listen to that . relapse refill is about the same sick and drop the world with lil wayne is bad .

it was a good album...if that is his response to his own work...i cant wait for relapse 2...his emotionally driven music is always his best. anyone can make an album...those who succeed are those who put their heart in it!

Im a die hard EM fan...he best rapper alive pre-Relapse and still is in league by himself...I agree Relapse had some silly punchliner songs(MY MOM, Medicine Ball, Old Times Sake,etc) For a long hiatus tho I was skeptical of another "Encore"...Relapse had some of EMs old MMLP, Eminem SHOW delivery...Deja Vu (best song)..Stay Wide Awake..Same Song & Dance, 3am and really rest of album showed his lyrical genius..If he spits out songs w/ tenacity like Lose Yourself, Forever(Drake)Last Verse...Till I Collapse, Soldier, White America(Eminem Show) & hits off MMLP (Say I AM, Kill YOU,etc) Thats the lyrical EM that nobody can touch...Dont get me wrong I like some of the funny, joke songs but this album should exclude those and EM should take the Respect he deserves...his verse on Forever(Drake) & his serious side of rhymes will remove any doubt that EM is the BEST RAPPER ALIVE and will go down as one of the BEST ALL TIME....RELAPSE to some artist would've been their CLASSIC ALBUM & to EM it was mediocre(if this article is true story)...That says enough in itself...MTV w/ host SWAY just did Hottest MCs in the GAME special & excluded from that list was EMINEM...WTF R U KIDDIN ME!!! But Soulja Boy, Kanye, Drake, Jay Z, Lil Wayne all on the list..(Jay Z was 1st)...R black ppl numb to the fact that EM is lyrically(not to mention FREEstylin) the best...Why dont you just have a show next time...The best rappers NOT NAMED EMINEM....how racist....I guess when Black people r racist its ok tho..>I mean if a Black guy was a Country Singer and his songs, voice, style, made him the best I certainly would buy his music(not really into country music) but just a point tryin to make...Yea EM is white & if he not @ top of that list you dont know RAP MUSIC(which sucks nowadays for the most part)...Just ask JAY Z who faired better in "Renegade" w/ Eminem....No wonder he hasn't done another song w/ him since then.....I hope EM destroys each track on Relapse2 and bring that edgy swagger and dope hooks throughout...No more MOM songs, KIM, Brittney, etc...just serious lyrics to put to rest who the best MC is and also a couple diss tracks would b cool too...When EM (Gunit/50Cent) put out JaRule Diss songs back in day they were hardcore and lyrically just SICK....and JaRule hasn't had a career in music biz since then.....EM is KING of da MIC....and we he bows out of RAP its gonna b a JOKE....JayZ is only other rapper w/ longevity and style that ppl like and he's pushn 40(yrs old) Door Down...90's was the best decade for RAP MUSIC...I don't ever see it reachin that level ever again...and since 2000 no rapper comes close to Mr. MATHERS and reason why he was "Artist" of the Decade....not to mention a pretty good acting role in a movie called 8 Mile or somethin....!!!!
