EMI is about to release the Beatles albums in remastered versions, and since music stores are in the throes of death, the company is hedging its bottom line by selling the albums at "nontraditional" music stores like 7-Eleven, Restoration Hardware, Whole Foods, Starbucks and Blockbuster. It's good to know that when I'm on a late night beef jerky run or picking up a DVD of White Chicks that I can pick up a Beatles album too. [DMWMedia]
