XL Recordings has announced the signing of singer/songwriter Elvis Perkins to the label and plans to release his album Ash Wednesday in February. The album's first single, "All The Night Without Love," is set to be released in January, and "Moon Woman II" will appear on the soundtrack to Fast Food Nation. A nationwide tour is being planned to coincide with the album's release, but in the meantime, you can catch Perkins touring with his band throughout the fall, opening for the Pernice Brothers.
