Elvis Perkins signs to XL

A nationwide tour is being planned to coincide with the album's release, but in the meantime, you can catch Perkins touring with his band throughout the fall, opening for the Pernice Brothers. [...] Elvis Perkins that is. He signs with XL and secures a wider release of his album set for February. One of his songs will appear in the movie soundtrack for Fast Food Nation. He is touring the US with the Pernice brothers, then he goes on a European tour with the Cold War Kids and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! Nice to see Elvis is doing well and has a big few months ahead.
