Ellen Degeneres Replacing Paula Abdul on American Idol

American Idol producers announced Paula Abdul's replacement yesterday, and it's Ellen Degeneres. Ellen, who has a syndicated talk show that has been airing for like 10 years, was approached by the producers and agreed, because you'd have to be nuts to turn down American Idol money. People hoping for Paula to return (if they exist) are totally bummed right now.
