Elf Power Announce New Self-Titled Album
That Of Montreal isn't the only Elephant 6 alumnus still making new music is a fairly well-kept secret. Yet Pitchfork reports that on September 14, Elf Power will release, well, 'Elf Power', their eleventh album and first since 2008's In a Cave.
The announcement is just further evidence that, in its third decade, the group of interrelated bands that grew out of Athens, Georgia is still going strong: this past spring saw new releases by E6 lifers Miles Kurosky and The Apples in Stereo, and this fall will see the release of Of Montreal's new album, False Priest. Now all we need is a follow-up to In the Aeroplane Over the Sea...
