And I here I thought that we were done with the El-P news for today after posting the download of his new track, “Drones Over BKLYN.” But Pitchfork has revealed news that’s bigger than any new single, no matter how fucking dope it is. El-P has apparently signed with Fat Possum to release his follow-up to 2007’s I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead. It’s still not clear whether or not said album will actually be called Cancer For Cure, but that seems more and more likely to be the case. El-P is the second hip-hop act to be signed by Fat Possum in the past year. As we reported this past March, the typically-indie rock label inked a deal with MellowHype, of Odd Future, to properly release their Blackenedwhite album.
