While we told you about this month's new Eels compilations back in October, today Mr. Everett confirmed a brief UK tour.  January will give us a Greatest Hits and a B-Sides collection both spanning '96 to '06, and the band will tour in February and March.  Not simply in support of the records, the shows will also no doubt hype Mark Oliver Everett's new book Things the Grandchildren Should Know.  The tour also includes a show at London's St. James church, wherein the first 200 Eels enthusiasts will be given the chance to have their books signed by E himself.  The book's cover includes a brief synopsis: "Rock Music!  Death!  Crazy People!  Love!"
