Post-punk immortals Echo and the Bunnymen have just announced that The Fountain, their first record since 2005’s generally well-received Siberia, will hit American stores on October 13th, and will feature production from John McLaughlin.
The names of a number of tracks set to appear on the new record leaked to Mojo earlier this summer, with titles including "The Idolness of Gods," "Forgotten Fields," "Proxy," "Shroud of Truth," "Life of a Thousand Crimes," "The Fountain," and "Think I Need To," which will be released as The Fountain's first single on September 28th.
In support of the new album, the group has unveiled a trio of North American tour dates. It's not much, but it's something to nibble on for our west coast readers.
