The late, great Eazy-E will be the subject of a new documentary called Ruthless Memories, which will feature feature exclusive interviews with close friends, business partners, and collaborators such as MC Ren and Jerry Heller. Eazy-E, legally known as Eric Wright, got his start in N.W.A. with rappers Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and MC Ren. The group achieved significant commercial and critical success, and are credited with the popular launch of gangsta rap. The group dissolved following the departures of Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, beginning a period of contention among the former bandmates. Eazy-E died of complications from AIDS in 1995, but remains among the most influential figures in rap history to today. Check out a teaser trailer for the movie below.
