Dum Dum Girls Touring, Releasing 'Only In Dreams' In September

It's only been a year since their full-length debut, I Will Be, dropped, but noise-poppers Dum Dum Girls are gearing up to release their sophomore album this fall. Only In Dreams is expected to be an emotionally heavy affair as it contains several tracks that address the death of frontwoman Dee Dee's mother. You might remember her as the woman who appeared on the cover of I Will Be and the band's self-titled EP.

But a majority of the lyrical content deals with longing for that special someone. This was something Dee Dee experienced throughout the past year while she and husband Brandon Welchez, of Crocodiles, were both on the road. Luckily for these lovebirds, they have booked similar touring schedules throughout October. They will be joined by Colleen Green for the majority of the jaunt with Royal Baths filling in toward the end.
