With heavy heart we announce that the body of John Pike, drummer of Ra Ra Riot, was found in the water next to Wilbur Point in Fairhaven, MA. Pike was reported missing after he failed to return from a house party early Saturday morning following his band's gig in Providence, RI the previous night. Authorities began combing the coast of Fairhaven on Saturday afternoon after a local found Pike's cellphone in the water; his body was spotted at 4:10pm on Sunday by a police boat involved in the search.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to Pike's family, friends and bandmates.
