Not sure Prefix has an official policy on cursing in titles, but sometimes asterisks make things more amusing, the same way the clean version of scratch classic Invisibl Skratch Piklz vs. Da Klamz Uv Deth is actually better than the explicit version - it's a smorgasbord of extra sound effects.More and more folks have been speaking out against DRM, and unlike the folks who are probably hiding their freshly minted Pittsburgh Steelers caps right now, this is one bit of bandwagon hopping Prefix doesn't mind. Hackers have been breaking the technology, music-industry people have been questioning customer acceptance, and now Pink Floyd's first manager, Peter Jenner, gives four pages worth of colorful language and thoughtful commentary on the troubles of DRM.
The Register also mentions the November 15 "Urgent Blue Sky Debate," to take place in London. With all this talk against DRM and with phrases like "blanket license" that would allow P2P sharing with a nominal fee, it may be enough to offset the frightening notion that Microsoft Zune will be launching in a week with yet another proprietary DRM scheme.
