Drake’s “The Motto” Goes Platinum

    Well that didn’t take too long now did it? Just two months after Drake’s Bay Area-inspired banger, “The Motto,” was released as the third Take Care single, it’s officially gone platinum. This isn’t anything new for Drizzy, of course, as the album itself reached the same sales milestone last December. Not only that, but I’m willing to bet that the Rihanna-featured, Gil Scott-Heron-sampling title-track will reach one million sales, too. It’s already all over the radio — where I am it is, at least — and the thing hasn’t even officially been released as a single. We’ll see, I guess. [HHNM]
