Drake’s “Nothing Was The Same” Goes Platinum

Drake already has three platinum albums in his first three releases. In the last maybe, 10 years, how many rap artists have done that? Kanye West and 50 Cent come to mind, and may be one or two more. But anyways, Drake’s Nothing Was The Same has just been certified platinum. After debuting number one with the Sep. 24 release (658,000 records sold,) the record continued to stay around the top five. This week, he moved just over 38,000 records to land at the number five spot, which left him with the so-far total of 1,029,408 copies sold.

Congrats to Drake on his consistency in music.
