Drake Working With The Weeknd

It's a match made in Toronto R&B heaven: Drake has announced via his Twitter that he is working with mysterious R&B group Weeknd (particularly singer Abel Tesfaye) on his new album, the follow up to 2010's Thank Me Later. It's probably a good move for Drake, since Weeknd (and Frank Ocean) have eaten up most of his hipster R&B buzz, and along with pairing up with Jamie xx, it shows Drake has his fingers on the pulse of the Internet. It also completes Drake's Weeknd co-sign, as he was the first big celebrity to nod to the group. More news when we get it. [P4K]

The Weeknd is not a group. The Weeknd IS Abel Tesfaye's stage name.
