Drake Says 'Thank Me Later' Was Rushed
So I was wrong: Drake isn't just schmoozing it up with his musical buddies, such as Florence Welch and Jamie xx, during his time touring abroad. Backstage at the Apollo, the Toronto native linked with DJ Semtex studio for an interview that stretches just past the 10-minute mark. They first chat about things all United Kingdom, from Drake's thoughts on touring there right now to some of his favorite UK artists. Most telling here, though, is when Drake reveals that his debut, Thank Me Later, was a rushed album and that he didn't get to take his time with its songs. Really, Drake? It was rushed even though it was delayed time and time again? Hmph.
