Drake & Rick Ross Announce Joint Mixtape

Because it’s the age of joint projects, Drake revealed in an interview with XXL that he and frequent collaborator Rick Ross are working on a joint mixtape. They’re calling it Y.O.L.O. (You Only Live Once) and that’s all we really know about the project right now. Of course, we can speculate all we want about what it will sound like and when it will drop.

I’m hoping for a bunch of cuts like “I’m On One,” “Free Spirit,” and “Aston Martin Music” with a little “Lord Knows” thrown into the mix. Yeah, that’ll most certainly do. Who knows when it will be released, though maybe it will hit the web soon considering Drizzy’s Take Care is out next Tuesday and Rozay’s God Forgives, I Don’t drops Dec. 13. You can read a snippet from the XXL interview below.

I have been working on a mixtape with Ross. A mixtape called Y.O.L.O. [That means] ‘You Only Live Once’. I’ve been working on that for the last couple of weeks. We haven’t really connected because he’s been going through this thing with his health. I’ve been stashing my little beats and verses.
