
Although it's been up since October, Toronto city spokesperson Francine Antonio-Forte only learned of Drake's Take Care billboard late last week. The promo tool features the city's name next to Drizzy's signature October's Very Own owl, and bears close resemblance to the actual Toronto logo. City officials of the rapper's hometown say that they're now "reviewing the matter." Why, exactly? According to Antonio-Forte, "the treatment of the word Toronto used on the billboard is very similar to the wordmark that forms part of the Toronto logo." Located on the Gardiner Expressway at Dufferin St. and Springhurst Ave., the billboard, pictured above, boasts the now-past release date of Drake's Number One album, the OVO owl and a population count of the city.
