Drake Reminds You to Bring a Raincoat (Video)

In the commercial above, up and coming hip-hop star Drake implores you to always stay strapped by wearing Strapped condoms. Now, Lil Wayne has also appeared in a commercial for the brand, but Wayne has credibility to shed (well, now that Rebirth is imminenet, maybe that ad was the first sign things were falling apart). But here's the question: Does this ad hurt Drake at all?

I mean, sure, he comes off pretty lame, and he seems real stoked to be doing the ad, which ads a dimension to the hokiness of the whole thing. But then again, dude was on Degrassi as a chronic over-actor, as the scene of him getting shot below proves. But seriously, I'm not even sure what to make of this ad. Yeah, he's doing a public service, but this just so goofy.
