Depending on your age and predilection for tween soap operas, you may or not be aware that sing-songy rapper Drake (né Aubrey Graham) used to play Jimmy Brooks on the Canadian television show Degrassi (though odds are that if you're reading this website, you probably already knew that). Worried that Drizzy's career as a songsmith means he'll never again grace the small screen? Well, today's your (kind of) lucky day: Drake will voice a main character for the new "Gears of War" video game, which follows a crew of human soldiers battling alien mutants. This ought to require all the emoting of acting without any of the actual acting.
Drake will voice the character of Jace Stratton, who also appeared in the previous "Gears of War" iteration. The video game, now on its third and final episode, is a favorite of Drake's and, when offered the role, he "couldn't pass it up," according to a press release. So if somehow you were worried that having a whole summer full of Drake songs on the radio wouldn't deliver your fill of the Toronto native, you'll now also get to hear him yell generic battle cries when the game comes out next year.
'Cus really, he probably doesn't have enough money yet.

You're wrong for that Degrassi pic haha.
Hahaha, the voices in the GoW games are so ridiculous. This makes the whole experience that much more ridiculous.
