Dr. Dre, Mafia Wars Teaming Up To Annoy You More

If you're one of the 500 million people on Facebook, you've likely been bombarded with confusing updates about your girlfriend's sister killing people in the online game of Mafia Wars. And if you're even a casual rap fan, you've probably heard some murmurings for the last half-decade about a new Dr. Dre album.

Well, two of the most annoying things on the Internet will soon come together, as Dr. Dre will appear in a special "Hustlin' With Dre" section of Mafia Wars to promote his perennially delayed album, Detox. Players will be able to collect Dr. Dre-related virtual memorabilia and even be entered to win some Beats By Dre headphones and a signed copy of Detox, when/if it ever comes out (my honest thoughts: Detox doesn't exist. Dr. Dre is just using the rumor to cash in on promotional deals).

Detox is currently scheduled to come out early next year, but I won't be convinced until Dre makes a Farmville cameo. Then it's on for real.
